Saturday Night Fellowship is a social group for those in their 20's and 30's
'Saturday Night Fellowship' is for anyone who is 18 or over. Our aim is to encourage and develop friendships and fellowship in the church through relaxed and informal get-togethers. There is no upper-age limit, and we welcome older people, but we place a special emphasis on looking out for young people who are in need of support and encouragement; this may include Christians who attend other churches, but don't have the opportunity to socialise with friends their own age.
We don't have a strict program, and are flexible, but as a general guide, we meet every fortnight, normally in someone's house at around 8.00. The meetings will alternate between Bible Studies and social events; however even on a Bible Study night, there will be plenty of chance to be sociable, with food to eat and a opportunity to relax and have some fun! Social nights typically include such activities as Laser Quest, Bowling, Cinema and Grub Crawls, but we are always open to other suggestions!
Once a year, we go away for a weekend, where there is an opportunity for more sustained fellowship, and also good Bible ministry and teaching.
