Monyhull Church FC play in the West Midlands Christian Football league
We have a football team that plays in the West Midlands Christian Football League on a saturday morning and train on a thursday night. It is open to the men of the community from the age of 16 upwards. The team is a mix of age and ability, some are a kick away from hanging their boots while others believe they are the next Lionel Messi!
Apart from aspiring to be the next Man Utd, we place great value on creating an environment of friendship and fun. Although we have a relaxed environment we do want all players to be committed and get involved with the team.
We also arrange social events to give us the opportunity to get to know each other and discuss the teams progress on the pitch. These range from quiz nights to curry nights and bowling to assault courses.
If you would like to get involved with the team you can contact John Millist. Alternatively, come along on a Thursday night at the West Midlands Travel Ground, Billesley. We train from 8.30 to 9.30 and it's £3 per person, we sometimes have a drink in the social club afterwards too.
